*Under 12 months do not require a ticket if they are accompanying another paying child, unless you would like them to receive a gift from Santa then an Under 12 Months ticket must be purchased.

Storytime with Santa is a magical festive experience where children are invited to enjoy a heartwarming short Christmas tale told by Santa Claus himself in a cosy, decorated setting.

Group Meeting with Santa Claus

Have your little ones’ dreams come true as they meet Santa and share their magical Christmas wish. This is a group experience for up to 6 children.

FAQs

Where is the grotto at Tingley?

The Grotto experience at Tingley Garden Centre has elements that will be indoors, undercover and outside. Please ensure you dress appropriately for winter weather conditions. On arrival at Tingley Garden Centre, make your way directly to Mission Out main entrance where our team will direct you to the waiting area for your stated time.

Can I purchase a ticket on the day?

Booking for Santa’s grotto is only available online and, as dates sell out quickly, it is unlikely you will be able to purchase a ticket on the day. We strongly advise booking online in advance to avoid disappointment.

How long is my experience?

Your grotto experience lasts approximately 15 minutes and will start at the specified time shown on your ticket (this will be specified online when booking and on your ticket when booked). Please arrive at the Grotto waiting area approximately 10 minutes before the time stated on your ticket. The centre can very busy so do allow adequate time to park and make your way through the centre. Please ensure you allow plenty of time to travel and park, as we do get busy – particularly at weekends.
