Dean’s Garden Centre started out as a family run business that served local gardeners for 56 years. The York store in Stockton-on-the-Forest was opened in 1968 by Mr & Mrs Dean and the centre has gone from strength to strength growing to cover more than four acres.

Mr & Mrs Dean retired in 1993 and their 3 children took over the day to day running of the business. After 56 years of successful trading, the Partner’s made the difficult decision to sell their business to enjoy a well-earned retirement. The business is now part of the Yorkshire Garden Centre family of centres, with sites at Tong, Tingley, Otley & Bingley.

Exciting refurbishments and upgrades are coming to Dean’s York Garden Centre, and we are thrilled to bring you along on this journey with us.
