Ice Skating Testimonials
We had a great time at the ice rink at tingley. Set up was very good. Organisation was slick. Boots and equipment sorted quickly. Could pre book penguins (which you can't always at other places). Little one (2yo) got over shoes instead of regular skates which clipped over his shoes and had 2 blades.
Very good. Children loved it. Proper ice is so much better than plastic used in some places. Staff efficient and helpful. Penguins a bonus. Will definitely use again. Shame it’s not all year round.
Love the ice rink & every year it gets better & better. Fab organisation this year with the in/out system. All staff were helpful and always busy.
Had a great time with the family at the ice rink. Great value for money and well organised. Haven’t skated for 30+ years and took some getting back into it but really enjoyed it. Daughter had a blast and having been first to take a tumble managed to stay upright throughout the rest of the session. Terrific start to our festive celebrations.
We went to Ice rink here, what an amazing time we had! Had my 3 year old first time on ice, she loved it! Do not hesitate to bring little ones there, it is so much fun for them! Thanks also to stuff there! All were so nice! Definitely will go again! And go thru garden center, their Christmas displey is like a wonderland! Xx
Great time at the ice skating rink for me and my children would definitely recommend
We had a great time at Tingley Ice Rink. The rink was a good size and wasn’t too busy. We hired a skate aid for my 2 year old and she loved her first ice skating experience. The staff were friendly and professional and the cafe was perfect for a hot chocolate to warm up afterwards. We’ll definitely be back again next year for what I hope will become an annual tradition 🎄☃️⛸️
Absolutely fantastic hour spent with my family ice skating ⛸️ we all enjoyed it so much. The rink had safety staff skating round plenty of penguins to hire for little skaters... We are looking for a spare slot to book again.
This place is such a fantastic addition to Tingley, the Garden center part is well stocked and comprehensive, Grasshoppers and mission out are brilliant and the kids love them, the cafe and food hall serve exceptional food and drinks, took teens to the Ice Rink on Saturday and they loved it , very efficient friendly staff throughout the place and loads of decent parking.
We loved ice skating..... lovely staff decent sized ice ring not too many people at any one time so we could skate around. A good price we had a lovely time, 45mins might not seem long but trust me it's ample amount of time for a general skate
I visited with my hubby and 2 daughters (ages 9 and 3) on Sunday and we all had such a good time, my youngest especially loved been pushed around on the penguin skate aid. The staff were all helpful, polite and friendly when booking in. Would definitely book again, my kids have already asked when we're going ice skating again!!

If you have pre-booked your skating tickets online, please go straight to the skating rink with your tickets ready. Can we buy tickets on the day?
