Tong Garden Centre is an award-winning garden centre and family destination in the heart of Yorkshire. Ideally located between Leeds and Bradford, with easy access from the M62, the centre is set within 17 acres of beautiful countryside and is independently owned, with strong roots in the local community.

Plants are at the heart of Tong Garden Centre, and our knowledgeable team are always on hand to offer friendly advice and expert guidance for gardeners of all levels. Alongside our extensive plant area and gardening essentials, you’ll find a large outdoor living department featuring garden furniture, barbecues and outdoor lighting, as well as an inspiring home, gift and toy department.

Tong Garden Centre is also home to a carefully selected range of independent retail partners, including Maidenhead Aquatics, Pavers Shoes and Bonmarché, offering even more choice under one roof. A visit during the festive season is particularly special, with our much-loved Christmas displays transforming the centre into a magical winter experience.

Dining at Tong Garden Centre is always a pleasure, with two welcoming table-service restaurants to choose from. Bloom’s Kitchen and The Mezzanine offer different menus throughout the day, serving freshly prepared dishes, tempting desserts and great coffee in relaxed, comfortable surroundings.

Families will love Grass Hoppers, our popular indoor and outdoor play centre, while food lovers can explore Hearty’s Food Hall, featuring an in-house butchery, bakery and deli, alongside a wide range of local and regional produce from our favourite artisan suppliers, known as our ‘Heartisans’.

Open daily with free, extensive parking, Tong Garden Centre offers an enjoyable day out for all the family and is now one of the largest garden centres in Yorkshire.

This place is stunning, never heard of it before but they have a play area for the kids that was really good alongside being able to feed some big catfish. Kids will deffo enjoy it and they also have a shopping centre which is unique in terms of what they sell.
